The Friends of the Libraries Book Sale Returns

The Friends of Libraries book sale will return to Alden Library April 18 – 20, 2013.

• Thursday, April 18: 7 pm – 9 pm (presale)

• Friday, April 19: 10 am – 6 pm

• Saturday, April 20: 10 am – 4 pm 

The items available in the book sale are donations made to the Friends of the Libraries organization and proceeds support the Ohio University Libraries’ facilities and acquisitions. Intern positions, speaker events, gifts and Friends of the Libraries student scholarships are just some of the items that the book sale proceeds fund.

Items in the sale include books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, and videodiscs. These items represent a number of subjects areas including social science, economics, education, children’s books, self-help, travel, cooking, art and much more. Generally, books cost $1 and 25¢ for some paperbacks. The finer items, like art books and digital items, vary in price.

So be sure to stop by Alden Library’s fourth floor beginning April18th to stock up on low-priced reads and entertainment items for the spring and upcoming summer season!
