Media Education Foundation (MEF) presents Gender and Race Streaming Video Collection.
The Media Education Foundation Gender Studies Collection produces and distributes documentary films and other educational resources (including study guides and transcripts) to inspire critical thinking about the social, political, and cultural impact of American mass media. Ohio University Libraries has purchased this smaller collection of documentaries based on their high use within the university community. Some popular titles include: Tough Guise, Dreamworlds, Killing Us Softly, Codes of Gender, Boys to Men, The Bro Code and many more. These videos are licensed to be shown in and out of the classroom, embedded on blackboard, and for use in online classes. If you wish to use any of these titles for an out of class event on campus, please contact lorraine wochna in order to secure permissions.
