Geobase is a databasecovering several subjects such as earth sciences, ecology, geology, human and physical geography, environmental sciences, oceanography, geomechanics, alternative energy sources, pollution, waste management, and nature conservation. As one of the best places to find current research in geological sciences, Geobase contains over 2.4 million records of peer-reviewed journals, trade publications, book series, and conference proceedings.

To begin research, you can either use the quick or advance start functions. If you are unsure of which keywords to use, Geobase has a thesaurus that can offer suggestions.
