Artistic Series: Manuscripts

Summary: Alwin Nikolais’ manuscripts are part of the Artistic Series.  Papers include pedagogy notes, autobiography notes, book chapters, transcripts from interviews and speeches, teaching, and touring. The pedagogy notes and speeches are arranged by the topic specified on the individual manuscripts.   The autobiography notes and notes on touring are arranged in the order they were received.  Teaching notes include an overview of lessons, syllabi, and lists of concepts and terms.   The format of this sub series includes hand written originals and typed transcripts of the originals.  Many of Alwin Nikolais’ writings were published and are located in the press series. Manuscripts were received in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2007.
