About ALICE

ALICE is the online catalog for every library in the OU system. It has a record for each of the items that those libraries own. These include (but are not limited to):
  • Books
  • Journals
  • Newspapers & magazines
  • Video recordings
  • Music & musical scores and
  • Electronic resources, such as academic websites and online books

Note: You won't find individual articles from newspapers, magazines or journals in ALICE. You will learn how to find individual articles by using one of the article indexes described in the next module.
