The mini-retreat features a morning workshop facilitated by Professor Swarup Wood (California State University, Monterey Bay, and coauthor of the newly-released book, Outcomes-based Assessment for Learner-centered Education: A Faculty Introduction), a working lunch and afternoon breakout discussions on learning outcomes and assessment topics of particular interest to Ohio University faculty, and a wrap-up discussion and reception.

Blackboard 7.3 is coming to Ohio University! The Center for Academic Technology will begin piloting Blackboard 7.3 during winter term. Product enhancements include improved discussion forum tools, retention assistance tools, a plagiarism detection tool, and a suite of social learning applications – social bookmarking, wikis, blogs, and podcasts.
