Locating Books in the Library
|
Location, Call Number, and StatusMost listings in ALICE include information on an item's Location, Call Number, and Status. Here's an example:
To find a book, be sure to note both the Location and the Call #, as well as whether or not the book is Available or not. If a book is checked out, the Status box will have a date that it is due back in the Library: Other Statuses include NON-CIRC, which means the books cannot be checked out, but may be used in the Library, or LOCAL USE ONLY, which means you can check the book out, but that we do not loan it to other libraries via OhioLINK.
