In addition to Library of Congress Call Numbers and Government Document Call Numbers, we use a number of other types of call number for special sections in our collections. The list below describes the kinds of items you can locate with this type of search.

Because of a former policy, some SuDOCS Numbers were indexed as Local Call Numbers. Current practice is to index them as SuDOCS Numbers; however, if the number is not located with the SuDOCS call number search, a local call number search should be tried. More on SuDOCS Numbers. |

Call numbers begin with Thesis D for doctoral dissertations; Thesis M for master's theses. These call numbers apply only to Theses submitted to Ohio University to fulfill degree requirements from Ohio University; theses from other universities receive Library of Congress Call Numbers appropriate to their subjects. |
