WorldCat

WorldCat is the largest library catalog in the world, covering the holdings of thousands of libraries. Use the search box on the right only for quick and simple searches.

If you can't find what you were looking for using the search box above, you should use the full-featured version of WorldCat, which is available to all members of the Ohio University community but not the general public.

Why to Use WorldCat?

If you can't locate the book you need in either ALICE or OhioLINK, you may want to request it from some other library via Interlibrary Loan. Before filling out the Interlibrary Loan form, however, you need to have complete bibliographic information about the book. The best way to find this is to use WorldCat.

Please note: Unlike OhioLINK, you cannot request books directly from WorldCat. Instead, you will need to take the bibliographic information you find there and use it to complete the Interlibrary Loan request form.
