Ohio University Doctoral Dissertations and Master's ThesesFinding Dissertations and Theses using ALICEBy Author or Title: When you know the author or dissertation/thesis title you want, do an Author search or a Title search on ALICE. By Subject or Keyword: You can also search ALICE by subject or keyword. Limit the search by Material Type and then choose THESES/DISSERT. By Department: You can also browse a list of Ohio University dissertations or Ohio University theses by department. The departments and programs are listed as they were named at the time the theses or dissertations were written. To rearrange these lists by date, click on Modify/Sort and then check the Sort Results by Year box. Print Copies of Dissertations and ThesesRecent Ohio University theses and dissertations not submitted electronically are shelved on the 6th floor, following books with "L" call numbers. Older titles are in the Library Annex, from which they may be requested in ALICE. There are additional non-circulating archival copies of dissertations and theses housed in the Department of Archives and Special Collections and the Library Annex. Electronic Copies of Dissertations and ThesesStarting with 1997, all dissertations completed at Ohio University are downloadable for free in Proquests's Dissertations and Theses database. Starting with 2001, Ohio University dissertations and theses submitted electronically are available at OhioLINK's Electronic Theses and Dissertations Center. |
