browse by section, e.g., news, business, and many more.

How to Search:
- To limit your search to the Plain Dealer , first click on the "Sources" tab near the top of the screen.

How to Search:
- Use the printed Index to Cleveland Newspapers/Cleveland News Index for the years 1976 - 1994 to identify the date, sections, and pages of the desired articles. This index has the call number Ref. AI21 .C54x and is shelved in Alden Library's Reference Collection (2nd floor).
- Load the appropriate reels of microfilm on the viewing equipment and browse the microfilm until you find the articles.
- For older articles, you need to determine the approximate date of the story you're seeking, then browse those dates of the microfilms.
