and ARTstor

These instructions assume that you have searched for images in ARTstor and found some results that you wish to import into RefWorks.

1. While viewing the thumbnail images in ARTstor, click once on each image whose citation you want to save and export into RefWorks. The selected images will be highlighted as shown below.

1. Go to the Image Groups pulldown menu in ARTstor.
2. Click on Save selected images as citations.

1. Click on OK on the confirmation screen that appears next.

1. Go to the Image Groups pulldown menu again.
2. Click on View saved citations.

1. Select or deselect citations as needed
2. Click on Directly export citations into RefWorks

Importing References into RefWorks

When the RefWorks login page appears:

1. Enter your Log-in name
2. Enter your Password
3. Click Login

1. After the RefWorks Import page appears, click View Last Imported Folder to view your references.

1. RefWorks will display references in the Last Imported Folder window.
2. For information about searching and sorting your citations or about creating and organizing folders, click the RefWorks Help link.
3. These three options will let you:
   • View the complete citation as it has been imported into RefWorks
   • Edit the citation
   • Click on the OLinks icon to go to a link that will allow yo to open the full text of the article.
