Art Exhibition Catalogues in the Annex

A number of annual and biennial exhibition catalogues are housed in the Annex. These catalogues offer a rich record of what was considered to be the best art of the period and contain information on individual artists, both known and unknown. Some of these annuals are national in scope; others are regional. Titles of individual annuals and biennials often change. Some merge with each other while others split into multiple titles. Our holdings of individual titles range from spotty to extensive.

The simplest and most direct way to access our holdings is by decade. Just click on the appropriate decade and a list of titles will appear. Then click the individual title to find our holdings in that decade. These publications are often fragile and relatively thin. It will not take long to check them for individual artists. Therefore, you may wish to make an appointment at the Annex rather than request lots of pamphlets.
