Board members make the Friends organization possible and their contributions are appreciated greatly. This file lists those who have been willing to serve the group as president.

Life Members

The Friends by-laws state that "Life membership may be conferred...for extraordinary gifts of money, equipment, books, collections, or other library material; or for unusual service to the Libraries". This file lists those, beginning in 1980, who have been named life members. There is also a plaque in the Friends of the Library Room (Alden Library Room 319) that recognizes life members.
