Citing Government InformationOccasionally a government document will offer a suggested citation, usually on the front or back of the title page. You can often easily find all of the information needed for your citation by consulting one of the standard indexes, such as GPO's Catalog of U.S. Government Publications or ALICE the library catalog. There is no univeral format for citing government publications just like any other source of information. The following sites provide general guidelines to be used with your selected style manual.
