Alden Library Award Winners:
Annual Student Research & Creative Activity Fair, May 2007
Three participants in the Research and Creative Activities Fair have been
awarded prizes for their extensive use of Ohio University Library resources. These
students were judged by a panel of librarians to have made the best use of
the library for their research projects including materials, services, and
spaces.
Two $100 awards were chosen before the fair, from applications submitted by
Fair participants. These prizes are funded by the Friends of the Libraries. (Click on the photos for larger versions.)
Undergraduate Award: Anna Simis for "Dramaturgy: Observe the Sons of
Ulster marching Towards the Somme"
Graduate Award: Garima Bajaj for "Pre and Post 9-11 SS7 Reliability:
Trigger, Direct, and Root Causes."
The third award was decided by attending librarians on the day of the Fair,
based on poster presentations and interviews with students. This award,
funded by the Dean of the Libraries, is for $50.
Dean's Award / Librarians' Choice: Mary Lachman for "World War II:
Clarifying the Philosophy and Choreography of Alwin Nikolais." (Librarian Sherri Saines on the left; Mary Lachman on the right.)

Rohrbough, Jeff Fulk, and Debbie Daniels.
