Alden Library Awards:
Annual Student Research & Creative Activity Fair
View Award Winners: 2007 | 2008
We are happy to announce that Alden Library will be presenting three awards to participants in the 7th Annual Student Research and Creative Activity Expo. Expo participants may apply for an award that will be given to researchers who made the best use of the library for their research projects including Materials, databases, collections, services, or spaces.
The Friends of the Libraries are once again excited to sponsor these awards.
To apply for the award, you need to complete the online application form.
The library is more than books and computers. It is a welcoming place for students to visit and make use of our services. The winning applicants will prove this by demonstrating exceptional and creative use of library resources and facilities for their research projects and creative endeavors. Award winners will be chosen by a committee of library staff from a variety of departments within the library.
The Library Award is available only to participants in the fair. One $100 award is for an undergraduate project and one $100 award is for a graduate project. The third award, "Librarian's Choice," will be chosen by the committee on the dat of the expo. To apply please complete the online application no later than May 1, 2008.
