Digital Cameras: Still Images

Digital Still Image Cameras are loaned at no charge to faculty, staff, and students for classroom academic credit instructional use, although we reserve the right to limit quantities. Ohio University Loan Policy

Charges will be assessed for workshops, conferences, research contracts, university-related organizations, student groups, and to all users for services which are not intended solely for direct academic credit classroom use.
Charge schedule for non academic equipment loan.

The loan period is 24 hours, cameras are to be returned by 5PM the next business day.
Equipment can be reserved on a first come first served basis.

These cameras save images to a SD (secure digital) card. This is included with the camera. Basic training in the operation of the camera is available. Zoom capabilities and a built-in flash provide some flexibility of operation.

The Ohio University Libraries provide access to more than 4,000 full-text books on all aspects of computing and related fields through Safari Tech Books Online. The Graphics section contains books on digital photography, Photoshop and related topics.
