Audio and Video Players

Equipment is loaned at no charge to faculty for classroom academic credit instructional use, although we reserves the right to limit quantities. Ohio University Loan Policy

Charges will be assessed to workshops, conferences, research contracts, university-related organizations, student groups, and to all users for services which are not intended solely for direct academic credit classroom use.
Charge schedule for non academic equipment loan.

The Loan period is 24 hours.
Equipment can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

	DVD Player Plays North American (region one) DVD disks and is intended to be connected to a video monitor or projector.
	Combination Video Cassette, DVD, and CD Player Plays VHS cassettes, North American (region one) DVD disks, and audio CD. Requires a video monitor, video projector, or TV set.
	VCR (Video Cassette Recorder) Plays and records to VHS cassettes. Requires a video monitor, video projector, or TV set.
	Combination VCR & Monitor Plays VHS cassettes. This is a 13 inch television with a built in VCR.
	Video Disk (Laser Disk) Player Uses large (usually 12 inches in diameter) laser-optical discs. Requires a video monitor. Some special programs can control the player through a computer for interactive presentation.
	Audio-Cassette Recorder This may be either a standard style with built-in microphone or a boom-box audio-cassette recorder with a CD player.
