Projection Equipment

Equipment is loaned at no charge to faculty for classroom academic credit instructional use, although we reserves the right to limit quantities. Ohio University Loan Policy

Charges will be assessed to workshops, conferences, research contracts, university-related organizations, student groups, and to all users for services which are not intended solely for direct academic credit classroom use.
Charge schedule for non academic equipment loan.

The Loan period is 24 hours.
Equipment can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

	35mm Slide Projector Carousel-type slide projector come with a wired remote control, and have auto-focus and zoom lens capabilities.
	Overhead Projector Use for viewing 8x10 inch transparencies such as those made with printer. Make sure letters are at least 1/4 inch high for ease of viewing.
	Video Projector Use with a VCR or DVD player for projecting VHS or DVD output.
	Computer Projector Use with your computer for displaying a PowerPoint Presentation or your other digital data. Can show video from a VCR player, a DVD player, or be used with a document camera. For best results match your laptop's resolution to the native resolution of the computer projector (1024X768).
	Projection Screen This tripod-style screen has a matte-white surface, and the screen is six by six feet in size.
	Lecternette Public Address System This small portable unit has a built-in microphone, amplifier and speaker. It may be used with AC plug-in current or batteries. A cassette recorder may be plugged into it. Extension speakers may be requested for special needs and larger audiences.
	Document Camera (Elmo) The document camera needs to be connected to a computer projector in order to project paper documents and other objects.
