TANGANYIKA GOVERNMENT PUBLICATIONS, 1919-1961.
The microfilm is divided into four chronological groups: 1919-1930; 1931-1940; 1941-1950; 1951-1961. Each group contains all published Annual Reports (British, as a colonial dependency,) the "Blue Books" (economic/statistical information,) and the Tangankika Gazette (administrative, legislative/laws, official communications.) Microfilm and printed guide, DT447 .G69x. The guide contains an introduction and general reel contents, no subject index.

Terrell, Mary (Church) PAPERS.
Materials deposited in the Library of Congress, correspondence, diaries, printed material, clippings, speeches, writings, and other papers, chiefly 1886-1954. 13,000 items. Mrs. Terrell was an advocate of both women's rights and equal treatment for African Americans. Included are materials relating to activities relating to women's suffrage, the Equal Rights Amendment, desegregation in the District of Columbia, the National Association of Colored Women, the National Woman's Party, the campaigns of Presidents Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover, and the Illinois senatorial campaign of Ruth Hanna McCormick. Also included are manuscripts Mrs.Terrell's autobiography. Correspondents include Jane Addams, Mary McLeod Bethune, Benjamin Brawley, Nannie H. Burroughs, Carrie Chapman Catt, Oscar DePriest, W. E. B. DuBois, C. A. Fleetwood, Francis Garrison, W. C. Handy, Ida Husted Harper, Addie W. Hunton, Maude White Katz, Eugene Meyer, William L. Patterson, A. THOMASON COLLECTION.
(Thomason Tracts.) (Note to staff: filed with Early English Books.) This is a very rich collection of pamphlets, books, newspapers (1641-1643, and manuscripts collected by George Thomason. The materials relate to the Civil War, the Commonwealth, and Restoration. The set complements the Early English Books collection. -- Also see -- Early English Books.
