The International Index of Music Periodicals

IIMP draws its current content from more than 300 international music periodicals from over 20 countries, and also indexes feature music articles and obituaries appearing in The New York Times and The Washington Post..

The Music Index

The Music Index has been the best-known guide to periodical literature in music since it was first printed in 1949 (printed volumes from 1949-1998 are available on our reference shelf). The online edition of this index covers 1979 through the present.
