Wednesday, June 23rd, 2004

The several databases from HeinOnline that we had on a trial basis since May (see earlier entry) have been added to the collection. The title are:

  • Law Journal Library Collection

  • Treaties and Agreements Library Collection
  • U.S. Supreme Court Library Collection

Here’s a quick link to the InfoTree records for these databases; using the links from InfoTree will facilitate off-campus access.

Alden Computer Lab Closed for the Summer

Monday, June 14th, 2004

As of Monday, June 14, the Computer Lab on the 2nd floor of Alden Library will be closed for the summer. This closing is part of the process of construction of the new Learning Commons in Alden, set to open at the beginning of Fall Quarter.

Anyone wishing to use computer lab facilities should go to the lab in the basement of the Computer Services Center, on President Street behind Copeland Hall and across from Bentley Hall.

Time to Return or Renew Books

Wednesday, June 9th, 2004

Update: If you have not yet renewed your books, they are now overdue. Overdue books cannot be renewed online. They must be brought back to the library for renewal.

A gentle reminder…

All faculty and staff should either return or renew books that they have checked out. Check-outs expire next week unless renewed.

Books checked out to graduate students also expire at end of the quarter.

Everyone should either return or renew their books before leaving town.
