Oct 18 @ 6 pm “American Outrage”
A documentary of the 35-year fight of Carrie
Dann and Mary Dann against the U.S. government’s attempts to take over traditional Shoshone land in Nevada, part of 60 million acres guaranteed to them in the 1863 Treaty of Ruby Valley.
Nov 1 @ 6 pm “The Story of Stuff”
“A fast-paced, fact-filled look at the under side of our production and consumption patterns, with a special focus on the United States. All the stuff in
our lives, beginning from the extraction of the resources to make it, through its production, sale, use and disposal, affects communities at home and abroad, yet most of this is hidden from view.

Nov 15 @ 6 pm “Life Running out of Control”
A film showing problems with genetic modifications, and unethical uses of genetic studies. Justice and control issues surrounding genetically modified
organisms is spotlighted. This “genetic pollution” is different than chemical pollution. Genetic modifications replicate themselves, and so over time the contamination becomes greater rather than dissipating.
