This is a new article in the August/September 2009 issue of The Teaching Professor titled “Why Don’t My Students Think I’m Groovy: The New “R”s for Engaging Millennial Learners,” by Christy Price.

“My interest in this new breed of students was piqued when I began to notice unrealistically high expectations for sucess among my students combined with an astonishingly low level of effort on their part.”  She goes on to outline what millennials expect and how educators can meet them half way.
