Because of a former policy, some SuDOCS Numbers were indexed as Local Call Numbers. Current practice is to index them as SuDOCS Numbers; however, if the number is not located with the SuDOCS call number search, a local call number search should be tried. More on SuDOCS Numbers.

Call numbers begin with Thesis D for doctoral dissertations; Thesis M for master’s theses. These call numbers apply only to Theses submitted to Ohio University to fulfill degree requirements from Ohio University; theses from other universities receive Library of Congress Call Numbers appropriate to their subjects.
