Note to all RefWorks users: our subscription to RefWorks will end on June 30, 2014. All users should move their data from RefWorks to another bibliographic management tool by that date or risk losing all their RefWorks data. The Libraries are supporting a bibliographic management tool named Zotero; see the announcement on our news page and our set of introductory web pages on Zotero

Start by connecting to www.refworks.com directly.

1. Click Sign up for an Individual Account on the Login page.Refworks login screen 2. The Create Account box will appear:Refworks new account screen
3. Fill out the information completely.
4. Click on the Create Account button.

After Leaving Ohio University

Students or faculty members who leave Ohio University and become part of another institution should first see whether their new school has RefWorks. Many schools do have access to it.

If not, they should buy a desktop product like EndNote and export their references from RefWorks into EndNote.
