Map Machine

Launched by the National Geographic Society's Cartographic Division, Map Machine allows web users to create maps of virtually any country, city, or region in the world. Map Machine also provides access to important demographic, topographic, and climatic information for any given locale.
Southeast Asian Deltas: Research & Reference Site

Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI)

Indonesia's leading scientific body, LIPI provides detailed information, publications, and statistics related to current biological and botanical research being conducted in Indonesia. Also includes information on LIPI's extensive zoological and botanical collections in Cibinong and Bogor.
Indo-Pacific Conservation Alliance (IPCA)

A science-oriented conservation organization, IPCA, now based in Honolulu, aims to educate and empower local community organizations throughout Indonesia, Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia to better manage their natural resources.
