Copy Services
Copy Service staff maintain all of the self-service photocopy machine as well as the stand-alone scanning stations in the library.
Self-Service Photocopiers
- The coin-operated copy machines in the library cost 10¢ per exposure and will accept nickels, dimes, or quarters. Change for use in the copy machines is available at the change machine on the 4th floor.
- Special copy cards, called VendaCards, are also available. They can be used in the library's copy machines, at a cost of 7¢ per copy, rather than the 10 ¢ for coin-operated copying.
- VendaCards should be used by non-student library patrons for printing from computers in the library. For more information, see our page on printing.
- VendaCards also work in the microform reader-printers; costs vary between 10¢ and 15¢ per page, depending on the size of the page.
- Two machines, called VendaCoders, for dispensing and revaluing VendaCards are located opposite the Learning Commons service desk—2nd floor and adjacent to the Circulation Desk—4th floor
- VendaCards are purchased using a $1.00 bill. The card costs 75¢ and is valued with 25¢ worth of copies. Additional value can be added to the card—in amounts of $1.00, $5.00, $10.00, or $20.00. Value can also be added with a credit card via the credit card valuation machines located next to each VendaCoder. A minimum of $2.00 can be added with a Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.
