Windows Software

Windows logoThis is a list of all of the software applications available on public workstations in Alden Library. Please note that many of the applications are available only to the faculty, staff, and students of Ohio University. For a list of applications and equipment on each floor of the library, please look at the complete list of Alden Library Computer Resources.

The list below is organized in the same hierarchy as the Start Menu on the public workstations. This list gives the name and a brief description of each type of software. For help using the software, it is usually most useful to consult the application's built-in help feature. This is usually located in the navigation menu at the top of the application screen. If you need more in-depth help, please consult the Additional Resources listed for information.

Individuals wishing to purchase copies of software for personal or departmental use should consult the software pages at CNS.
