General Services for Persons with Disabilities

Bookdrop

The Libraries have installed a wheelchair-accessible bookdrop for the convenience of mobility impaired patrons. It is conveniently located in the Clippinger Hall parking lot, allowing patrons to drive up and deposit books from the driver's side. If you are registered with Disability Services in the Office for Institutional Equity and would like to have a key to use the bookdrop, you may make arrangements by calling 593-2620.

Retrieving Materials

Patrons who need assistance retrieving material from a library collection need only ask at a service desk. There may be a time lag as staffing may not always allow immediate retrieval. For best service please submit a list well in advance of your deadline.

Copy Services

Copy Service, located on the 4th floor of Alden Library, will photocopy all materials for the same price as you would pay at a public coin-operated copier. Please make requests at the Circulation Desk on the 4th floor and allow ample time for the staff to make the copies.

Reference Assistance

General reference assistance is available on the second floor at the Reference Desk. For specialized assistance, an appointment may be made with a Subject Bibliographer. Call (740) 593-2699 for more information.
