Document Delivery

Document Delivery is a service provided by the University Libraries (Athens) to scan and deliver materials electronically from Alden Library, the Library Annex and the Music/Dance Library.

Ohio University students, faculty, and staff from the Athens campus are eligible for use of these services at no cost.

How does it work?

If you are searching for research literature and it is not available to you electronically through one of our full text services, make a request using the ILLiad ILL/Document Delivery Request Form. If the library owns the hard copy and it is fewer than 50 pages, it will be scanned into a PDF document and you will receive an email notice. Notification of availability and instructions for viewing will be sent to your Ohio University email address.

If we do not own the material, we will request it from another library through the Interlibrary Loan office.

First time borrowers will need their PID to register.
