CSA Databases RSS Feeds and Alerts
The CSA interface provides updating services via both RSS feeds and an Email alert service. To take full advantage of the alert features, we recommend that you create a free account for yourself. To do so, simply click on the "My Research" link. Creating Alerts1. Once you have logged in, while viewing a set of search results for which you want an alert, click on the "Alert Me" link:
3. A new page will appear with several options on it. Click on the orange-and-white RSS icon. 4. If you are already logged into an RSS reader of some sort, you may go directly to a page that gives you the opportunity to add the new alert to your reader. If you are not logged in, you may see a page that looks something like this:![]() Copy the entire URL and paste it into the place in your reader where you add a subscription to an RSS feed. Email AlertsIf you want to receive alerts via email, follow the same procedure outlined above, up to the point of Saving Your Search Result. If you choose either HTML or Plain Text Email, your Manage Searches & Aerts options will look like this:
