Faculty and Staff Delivery

Alden Library delivers library materials, Monday through Friday, to a central drop-off location in each building where we have enrolled faculty and staff. We also pick-up items for return. We will forward the location of your building’s drop-off point at the time of enrollment.

We will deliver any regularly circulating materials from:

  • Alden Library (including videos for classroom use by special arrangement)
  • Library Annex
  • Music & Dance Library
  • Intercampus Borrowing
  • OhioLINK Borrowing
  • Interlibrary Loan

To enroll, simply complete and submit our Faculty/Staff Delivery Services Online Enrollment Form.

Please note, Faculty/Staff Delivery Services WILL NOT run on days when Athens County is on a Level 2 or 3 snow advisory.

You can request Alden Library materials to be delivered to the Circulation Desk using the Request Annex or Intercampus button within the ALICE Library Catalog for easy pick-up at the 4th floor desk. These materials will not be available immediately, but they should be available for pick-up within 24 hours during normal business days.

During hours when only the 2nd floor is open you can ask at the desk for Learning Commons staff to retrieve items for you from anywhere in the building. This includes OhioLINK and Interlibrary Loan material, as well as movies and course reserves.  Note that during breaks or holidays, there may be hours when the Learning Commons staff are unable to retrieve items.
