Follow the instructions below to create an Adobe Acrobat pdf file. 

  • Verify that the scanner is turned on by looking to see if the green power light is illuminated. If the light is off, turn the power on by flipping the switch located on the side of the scanner.
  • Open Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Place your document or photo in the scanner face down.
  • From Acrobat’s File menu, trace to Create PDF, and click From Scanner.
  • Click Scan.
  • Select your Image Type.
  • Specify your Resolution (300+ for print quality).
  • Click Preview.
  • In the Preview window, make sure the area of the document/photo that you want to scan is positioned correctly. If not, re-position your document/photo and click preview again.
  • Click Scan.
  • After the scan is complete, you will be asked if you want to scan more pages or if your scan is complete.
  • Save your image (to flash drive, D: Temporary Storage or Student Work Folder, etc.).
