Physical lunch meeting: Thursday 3/1/2007 from 11:30am-1:30pm (Eastern Time)

The next SLLC (Second Life Learning Community) physical lunch meeting will take place on Thursday March 1st from 11:30am to 1:30pm in room 237 at Baker Center.

Food will be provided. (Thanks to Marjorie of Academic Technology). It was recommended that we do a "potato bar" where guests can top a baked potato with various yummy items. The potato option is great because you can go entirely veggie if you want & it is different and tasty.

The main topic of this meeting is to discuss how we can introduce more classes to the Ohio University Second Life campus. Concrete ideas and requests are particularly welcome. We have a small funding from OLN, which will enable us to hire a student to develop teaching aids customized for your class. In addition, a number of us plan to apply for an 1804 grant, which will hopefully provide more development help as well as a higher stipend for your effort on bringing the OU Second Life campus to your class.

Because food will be provided, I will need to get a head count. Please RSVP by the end of the day Friday. Thanks.
