American Anthropological Association
This site contains a wealth of information. Of particular interest are a survey of anthropology Ph.D.s and an overview of career opportunities in anthropology. The AAA posts information on 32 subsections/associations and on its 24 publications.

ACPAC: American Committee for Preservation of Archaelogical Collections
A nationwide private committee arguing for the preservation of archaeological and museum collections in the public interest, as part of the hertiage of the nation and the property of all the citizens.

The American Oriental Society
The American Oriental Society, maintained by the University of Michigan, encourages "basic research in the languages and literature of Asia."

Association of Social Anthropologists of New Zealand Incorporated
