Thomson One Banker replaces Compact D/SEC
As many of you know, Thomson ceased producing the Compact D/SEC cdrom in June of this year. It’s been a work in progress for a while, but we recently activated our subscription to Thomson One Banker to replace the now-defunct cdrom product. Thomson ONE Banker offers you quick and easy access to quotes, earnings estimates, financial fundamentals, market moving news, transaction data, corporate filings, ownership profiles and research from industry-leading sources including: Thomson I/B/E/S, Thomson Worldscope, Thomson SDC, NewsEdge, Thomson First Call Earnings Data, Thomson Extel, Global Real-time and/or Delayed Market Data, Thomson Investext, and many more.
You’ll find Thomson One Banker in the “Company Information” and the “Investments” sections of InfoTree, or you can go directly to the resource at http://infotree.library.ohiou.edu/single-records/3825.html.
To be honest, I have not had much time to tinker with Thomson One Banker, so there is a lot that I need to learn about the database. Nevertheless, please let me know if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them.

Thank you for the information about Compact/D SEC. I used it last in July and no one said it was no longer going to be produced. We get Mergent but I have kept all my old Compact/D discs and still use them for the Management discussions and President letters. Not to mention the three year ratio analysis of the old fillings. These are great discs for students doing old case studies, there are many other uses I’m sure. Thank you for the new info. I will come back to your site.
Best regards,
Maria LK
