Hi, I’m Chad Boeninger, and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to visit my Business Blog.  As the Business & Economics Subject Specialist at Ohio University Libraries, I use this blog to point business researchers to the best databases, sites, books, and other reference tools in order to help them with their research.  While the primary audience for this blog is the students and faculty of Ohio University, others not affiliated with the university may find some of the content useful as well.  Here is a sampling of what you will find here:

Links to Databases

The databases page provides a quick way to access our subscription databases that cover business and economics topics.

Helpful Videos

My videos on this site are designed to give researchers a visual demonstration of how to look for topics and navigate the various interfaces of our databases.

Timely, Regularly-updated, Relevant Content

Questions from students, faculty, and others drive the content of this blog.  As I get questions, I post answers here.  Odds are if one student has a question, there are 40 others right behind him/her who need to know the same thing.

Helpful Guides

Whether you’re just getting started in Company Research, need to know how to find a SWOT analysis, or need a guide for a specific industry, the Business Blog will have what you need.

A Place to Ask Your Questions

I try to be as accessible as I can be.  If you have a question, by all means ask it.  You’ll find the various ways to contact me on my Contact page, linked in the navigation bar at the top of this site.  Librarians love to answer questions, and I am no exception.  Please feel free to ask, or leave a comment on a blog  post if you’d like.

A Resource that Meets Your Needs

Whether you are a faculty member or a student, I welcome all comments and questions about the content and design of this blog.  While I have tried my best to make the site as easy-to-use as possible, I always appreciate input from users.  Whether you like something, see something missing, can’t find something, or just want to chat, please feel free to contact me.   This blog is almost as flexible as I am, and I want to make sure the site continues to evolve and grow to meet your needs as best as it can.
