How to read a Mediamark Reporter report

If you have never used Mediamark Reporter, the reports can be difficult to read.  In this example, we will be looking at one line in the report about people who watch NASCAR on television on a regular basis.

 

Percent Across

In this example start with number 1 and the green box, and end at number 3 and the red box.  The information reads as follows:  “Of Americans aged 45-54, 8.1 percent of them watch NASCAR regularly on TV.”

  1. Of all Americans aged 45-54,
  2. 8.1 % of them
  3. watch NASCAR regularly on TV

Percent Down

In this example for percent down,  start with number 1 and the green box, and end at number 3 and the red box.  The information reads as follows: “Of Americans who watch NASCAR regularly on TV, 27.7 of them are age 45-54.”
