Library Research Instruction

OhioLINK Keyword Search Update

The OhioLINK Keyword Search is now working, but not completely up to speed.  Here’s the last update from OhioLINK:

The Chicago Defender

The library has recently purchased the historical Chicago Defender database from Proquest, which provides page image access to the paper from 1905-1975.
This paper will be an addition to the historical Washington Post (1877-1990) and  the historical New York Times (1851-3 yrs ago).

OhioLINK Planned Outage on August 16

The OhioLINK Library Catalog will be unavailable on Thursday, August 16, beginning at approximately 11:00 a.m., while they upgrade the system. The upgrade is expected to take a minimum of eight hours to complete.
During this time you will not be able to search the catalog or place requests for OhioLINK books and library materials.
