About InfoTree
InfoTree is a directory of research resources subscribed to by the Ohio University Libraries. InfoTree is a a major gateway to online full-text article databases as well as other resources recommended by the Libraries' Subject Bibliographers as being especially useful for academic research. This includes types of sources such as:
- Recommended search engines
- Websites of all kinds, chosen by librarians for their research potential
- Electronic reference books (dictionaries, encyclopedias, directories, etc.)
- Print reference books, chosen by librarians for their outstanding research value
- Research guides, some in the form of wikis
- Electronic journal collections (individual journals are also listed in ALICE)
- Information about the librarians who work as subject bibliographers
How InfoTree is Organized
Databases in Infotree are arranged by Subject:
And within each subject, by Subtopic:
Each Communications subtopic has article databases and sites that contain the best information for that specialization. Infotree doesn't feature everything in the library - search for individual journals and books in ALICE, the OU online library catalog.
