This is a list of style guides that are used in Engineering.
A quick note: If you are looking to publish an article in a scientific journal then the publishers of that journal will typically delineate what style you should use. Just get a paper copy of the journal, which would have a page or two about how to write articles, you can also use existing articles in the journal as a guide to what your article should look like. You can also check with the publisher's website to see if they have a listing of guidelines they have established for publication.
