Good database to start for any search, but remember, it is not subject specific. In terms of film, use ASC to find substantial reviews of post 1980 films. Magazines and Scholarly journals are located in this database. Recommended periodicals: Film Quarterly, Sight & Sound, and Literature Film Quarterly, although there are others.
