British Humanities Index
Includes abstracts and indexes of over 300 British journals and newspapers from 1962 to the present. The term "humanities" is interpreted broadly to include the arts, music, philosophy, religion, literature, economics, politics, history, and society.
In addition, selected non-specialist articles of interest in science and technology are also abstracted. Poems, works of fiction, book extracts, and short reviews are not included. Major obituaries of prominent figures are noted.
