Some of the microform resources in particular may not be completely represented at this point in the Libraries' on-line catalog. These include:

• Confidential U. S. State Department Central Files.... DT32.5 C663... and older central files, diplomatic and consular dispatches in the U.S. National Archives section in regards to British Africa.


• The Current National Statistical Compendiums set contains all Swaziland Statistical Yearbooks published.


• The Commodity Trade Statistics (United Nations) set.


• The International Population Census Publications contains all national census published in Swaziland.


• SWAZILAND Official (Government) Publications, 1880 - 1972. This collection was organized by the State Library, South Africa, distributed on microfiche by IDC Publishers (Netherlands) and is available in a number of libraries. Materials include:

  1. British official publications dealing with Swaziland, 1880-1968.
  2. Official publications of the Transvaal Republic dealing with Swaziland, 1850-1902.
  3. Swaziland Secretariat publications, 1904-1968.
  4. Publications of the High Commissioner for Basutoland, the Bechuanaland Protectorate and Swaziland .... 1904-1972.
  5. Publications of Government Departments of the Kingdom of Swaziland, 1968-1972.
  6. Reports compiled for the Swaziland Secretariat by various concerns.

  Microfiche DT971 A3 S9 1976X; Guide, Z3560 P74 1975. On occassion materials cited in the guide are not contained in this particular set of microfiche. However some of this material, such as British "Command Papers", census publications, etc., can be found in other microform collections. Other titles such as Government Gazettes are individually cataloged.

• GREAT BRITAIN.... (Foreign Office, Colonial Office, Sessional Papers, ....) There is a very large and wide range of material in regards to Great Britain and its former colonies on microform. You may wish to browse under the names of individual countries. If we are aware of them, finding aids and indexes for microfilm series are included with the citations.

• Real Image is an online service located in Swaziland, a must see. Real Image hosts a full compliment of sites - commercial and non-commercial, government and non-government.


• Swaziland Business Year Book - - A presentation about the Country in good detail and the business environment. There is also Swaziland Internet Business Directory similiar to yellow pages.
