Tracing Threads in the Scholarly Web: ISI Web of Science

ISI logoDate: Tuesday, April 15, 2008
Time: noon - 1 pm
Place: Alden 323
Instructor: Mike Wilson

Have you been using ISI Web of Science for your research? They just created a new interface for it with a lot of neat features that allow you to get better results. Of course, you can continue to use their database to trace the path of research, which is one of the most powerful and effective researching methods. We'll be covering all the new tips and tricks for locating articles in the Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and the Sciences. The demonstrations used in class will be made up of topics volunteered by the attendees, so you can also get some FREE research!

Download the class handout (PDF).

Pre-registration is NOT required. Just come to Alden 323 at the day and time listed above.
