When the time comes to write the paper you’ve been putting off or you finally need to study for your biology exam, there’s no better place than here at the library. Whether you need total silence or some background noise, we’ve got you covered.
The 1st through 4th floors have open areas to study as well as a group study rooms. The study rooms are great for group projects or practicing a presentation. These can be reserved at online via our room booking system for up to two hours per day (per student). If a room is not reserved, it will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. These go quickly during midterm and exam weeks, so be sure to reserve a room ahead of time.
If you need quiet space to concentrate, there are designated quiet spaces on the 1st, 3rd and 5th floors. You’ll also often find the stacks (6th and 7th floors) to be generally quiet. Some spots on these floors offer spectacular views of campus – if that’s not too distracting to your studies.
To see what each floor has to offer, check out the floor plan.
Also located on most floors are desktops computers. You can also check out laptops from the 2nd floor to take anywhere in the building. You can see how many computers are currently available on each floor with this new tool showing current computer availability.
