Archives & Special Collections
Welcome to the Robert E. and Jean R. Mahn Center for Archives and Special Collections.
The Mahn Center is the principal repository for rare books, manuscripts, and Ohio University archives material. The Mahn Center’s mission is to support the education, research, and creative endeavors of the Ohio University community.
The Mahn Center is also the home to the University Records Management Office, which establishes retention and destruction standards for University records.
The Mahn Center is located on the 5th floor of Alden Library. Before visiting the Mahn Center, you may wish to contact us to make sure that the materials you wish to consult are available or to set up an appointment.
