Getting used to semesters has been tough, but winter break is almost here! All that stands between you and relaxation is a week of finals. Don’t stress out too much though, Alden Library is here to help you finish out the semester strong with some study tips and finals help.
First, you have to find a place to study. There are quiet study rooms on the second and fourth floors of the library and general quiet areas on the first, third and fifth floors. Study rooms can be found on the first, second, third and fourth floors. If you prefer somewhere with more activity (and more coffee), try Café BiblioTech. The library’s floor plan is available online if you’re still looking for the ideal study destination.
Once you’ve picked your favorite spot, it’s time to buckle down and study. Not sure how to get started? The Academic Advancement Center has useful tips on time management, exam prep, concentration improvement and more. It even has a tool to calculate your GPA.
